Kenneth W. Gates is a native hoosier born in Evansville,
Indiana and began singing as a young boy with his famiily in church. He continued developing his voice through years of singing,
both solo and with various groups.
He graduated from Olivet Nazarene
University in 1970 having earned his BS degree in Church Music and Choral Conducting with a Specialization in Voice.
He has held many positions in
both the Church of the Nazarene and the Wesleyan Church, including pastor, assistant pastor, Head Chaplain, and (since 2001)
Evangelist.

Reverend Gates founded Ken Gates Ministries, Inc in October 2005.
The focus of his ministry is to bring biblically-based preaching to challenge
the church to be empowered by God for service and become instruments of honor, praise, and worship to the Lord.
